Have you ever looked in the mirror and didn’t like what you see? Have you ever felt completely useless? Have you ever felt like there’s something missing? If you could just change one thing about yourself, then you feel like you’d be happy. If you could just be special to one person. Well, guess what? You don’t have to change anything. You’re absolutely beautiful just the way you are, and I guarantee you’re a lot more special than you think.
Everyone is built differently. We’re all a priceless painting, irreplicable, and any attempt to do so is just a cheap copy. There’s beauty found in the faces of every child, every mother, every teenager, every grandmother… I know that it’s hard to feel special every day; some days you just look around yourself and feel so small. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are about 6,882,950,597 people on this earth today. Looking at that number, you may feel even more small. But think of it this way: it only takes one raindrop to raise the sea, a one degree change in temperature to turn water into ice, and only takes one person to make a difference in someone’s life. You can never know everyone you’re impacting; you can plant a seed in someone’s mind that takesyears to cultivate, but eventually grows into a towering idea… all because of you.
Take the time to smile a little more each day; your life is a precious thing to have. All of you are beautiful, and special. Your life is something that you should cherish and live to the fullest, exuding everything you have to offer for the rest of the world to enjoy.
The next time you look in the mirror, remember that you’re gorgeous. Remember that you’re one of a kind. Remember that you can make someone’s life better just by being in it. And if you forget any of that, at least remember this:
